San Francisco’s Jason Quever, aka Papercuts, is the perfect songwriter for Dolores Park grass-lounging. He has worked or toured with Beach House, Grizzly Bear and the sad amazingness that is Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, and has released three critically embraced albums with one in the Easy-Bake. Expect a slow tempo, a nasally yet unobtrusive voice like the Decemberists if Colin Meloy would just take a Xanax already, and a 60’s sound that makes you nostalgic—though you don’t know exactly what for.
