Lumerians
San Francisco's ultra trippy outfit Lumerians emerged recently with a self titled EP and a psychedelic sound that haunts as much as it consumes the listener. Reportedly taken from an occult legend of an undersea continent, their moniker reflects their murky and ever deepening music. With a keyboard driven, 60's tinged vibe that thunders and rolls along a landscape of curiosity and confusion, Lumerians may be the heaviest act without guitars fronting their assault. Though strings do make appearances, the quartet primarily encompass synths and moogs to form an unearthly texture within their walls of sound. CHARLIE SWANSON
