With the short lived demise of Camper Van Beethoven in the early 90's, frontman David Lowery formed Cracker with Johnny Hickman. The duo's unique take on the dying sounds of Americana helped revitalize and expand the genre. With Camper now officially alive and kicking , Craker has become Lowery's outlet for his satrical, irreverent stylings. Also delving into country and alternative sounds, Craker is the band that is continually redefined, all while matruing and distancing themselves from the mainstream monotony of today's excuse for country music. Still going strong after over a decade, Craker is the perfect pairing for Camper's ever evolving rock and roll, now stronger than ever.
