Colour Music
Colour Music is the musical project of Roy G. Biv, who purports to be the descendent of Sir Isaac Newton (who designed the mnemonic device that gives Biv his name). The Oklahoma resident also suggests that he sees colors when he hears music, and that's what his band tries to replicate. No matter what the truth his, his group offers sugar-coated pop gems featuring sweetly layered vocals and organic acoustic sounds, coming off like an earthier Flaming Lips or Animal Collective.
