El Presidente - The Incredibly Strange Wrestling Movie
Welcome to Cabo San Luchas, land of wrestling, punk rock, and politics!  When El Homo Loco decides to run for President of Boystown, he finds life is trickier outside of the ring.  The Oi Boy wants his head, Erika Kanine wants him exposed, and the Snackmaster could care less unless it involves snacktime.  Life was easier when all the punches were pulled below the belt!  This is Lucha Libre at it's most depraved, if that's possible.  Let's keep it clean, Boystown!

Man With A Movie Camera featuring a live score by Oranger

Dziga Vertov's classic, vibrant experimental film - one of the greatest Russian films of all time -- gets a psychedelic soundtrack from Noise Pop veterans Oranger. Non-stop visuals and a textured, noisy and gorgeous score -- highlighted by plenty of theremin, guitar sonics and loops -- merge in this one-time-only experience.

Burn To Shine - Washington DC 01.14.2004
Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty filmed this, the first installation of a 6-episode set, in 9 hours on one day, January 14, 2004. It was shot in the living room of a house that was about to burned to the ground.  Featuring live performances from Ted Leo, Bob Mould, Weird War, Q and Not U, The Evens, French Toast, Garland of Hours and Medications. "Burn to Shine is the first in a series of films that attempts to document bands in America playing live in spaces that are slated to be demolished. Placing them in a context relative to one another and their chosen city, and capturing forever what it means to see them up close in the most intimate of spaces."

No, this is a brand-new documentary on the West Coast's beloved Mother Hips, shot by Bill DeBlonk and chronicling, "Behind the Music"-style, the band's earlier years. Mix in informal interviews, old concert footage and fan commentary, and you have a great snapshot of one of our most popular local acts.
